Raven, President and CEO of A&E Television Networks, at this month’s Power Player Breakfast.
Previously,
as the President of A&E Network, USA and the Executive Vice
President and General Manager of A&E Network and The Biography
Channel, Raven introduced real-life programming, such as Growing Up Gotti, that sparked double-digit growth and earned 24 Emmy nominations. As
Executive Vice President and General Manager of The History Channel,
she garnered an Emmy and two George Foster Peabody Awards.
Raven
has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Power
100 list and Cable World’s Top 50 Most Influential Women In Cable, and
has received the Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership from the
National Cable Television Association, among other prestigious awards.
She
is a Director of the NCTA, NAMIC Foundation, The International Academy
of Television Arts and Sciences and the CTAM Educational Foundation,
and serves on the steering committee of The Paley Center for Media’s
“She Made It – Women Creating Television,” by whom she was honored. She is Co-Chair of Cable in The Classroom and a member of numerous industry organizations.
