These seven animations are remarkable for their inventive and meticulous use of stop frame and line drawing.
Jane Aaron is an internationally recognized, award winning animator whose independently produced films have been shown around the world. Her films are in many collections including those at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Hirshhorn Museum, and The Walker Art Center, and have been included in the Whitney Biennial. She has served on the juries of International Film festivals at Annecy, Hiroshima, and Toronto as well as AFI, Illinois Arts Council and The MacDowell Colony. Her films have been seen on PBS, Showtime, Cinemax, Nickelodeon, The Learning Channel and TV networks internationally. Her film Remains to be Seen is currently touring as part of the MacDowell Centennial Celebration. She is a Guggenheim Fellow.
