OCEAN LIFELINE
By Cynthia Carvajal

Ocean Lifeline is in the process of filming a documentary on current ocean affairs with an emphasis on the plastic crisis. The filming also addresses issues such as shark finning, sustainable seafood and dolphin captivity. The project started filming on the big island of Hawaii and phase 2 of the filming is projected to film in New York. The film addresses how living in a global throw away economy and large metropolis cities impact the oceans. The plastic crisis is no longer "out of sight, out of mind". We seem to have reached a tipping point when it comes to consumption and sustainability - plastic is now in the seafood we eat and forever swirling around in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The film exposes the truth through powerful imagery of a beach covered in plastic and original underwater footage of wild dolphins, manta rays and marine life.
MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Thank you for your interest in OLL.
Our mission is to maintain the homeostasis of the oceans on a macroscopic level, enacting worldwide protection for marine-life from environmental harm and human destruction. Ocean Lifeline is committed to preserve the life of dolphins, whales, sharks, manta rays and marine life through a series of educational research, strategic campaigns and documentaries.
“Captivating the public interest in marine conservation through the creation of powerful imagery.”
