Her Telling Heart

FADE IN:
INT. OLD ABANDONED HOUSE - NIGHT
3 WE SEE the engorged blaze of blue and gold flames flicker in3
a lone fireplace, but HEAR, as if through a glass, the
distant sound of its flames’ crackling.
The BLAZE OF FLAMES grows faint, becoming nothing but a mere
spot of purplish blue and gold flickering on the screen,
surrounded by an eerie black.
And yet, WE HEAR the distant sound of the fire crackle LOUDER
and LOUDER.
2 FADE TO BLACK. 2
WE continue to HEAR the SOUND of the fire crackle louder and
louder until, when it seems almost too loud to bear, it
begins to die down, again. As that sounds dies down, it is
replaced with the slow, yet steady, sound of a faintly
4 BEATING HEART. 4
